From Holman in March & April.
For two+ days you will be snowmobiling from Holman north across the Diamond Jenness Peninsula , then across Minto Inlet to the Boot Inlet cabin. After an overnight there, we return to Holman. There will be much to see, including: an abandoned Thule site, tent rings, actual NW Passage, caribou, musk-ox, wolves, fox maybe polar bear & the unforgettable Aurora Borealis. We will try to coordinate your trip with a full moon event. Snowmobile experience would be an advantage. You will be living close to the Inuvialuit ways. These trips can challenge who you are yet provide you with the singular experience of a lifetime. Note you will spend the first and third night in the Arctic Char Inn or a B&B

From Holman in March & April.

For five+ days you will be snowmobiling from Holman along the length of Prince Albert Sound on Victoria Island . One night on the trail will be spent in an igloo and the other four trail nights will be spent in four different rustic cabins on the Sound's north shore. Wild life can be abundant: musk-ox, caribou, wolves, fox, and sometime polar bear. We try to time these expeditions with a full moon phase and active aurora (note: by mid May there is no darkness). We can accommodate up to four people per expedition. Snowmobile experience would be an advantage. You will be living close to the Inuvialuit ways. Total snowmobile travel ~450km/280 miles These trips can challenge who you are... yet provide you with the singular experience of a lifetime.

Schedule (2-6 clients, for 8 days)
From Paulatuk in March - May
For 5 plus days you will be snowmobiling mostly on the Parry peninsula. The first 2 days of travel will be to the Cape Parry DEW line site on the Amundsen Gulf. Two days travel down the west side of the Parry Penninsula and one day, weather and time permitting, on excursions in the Ruben Lake area to the west of Paulatuk. We will be on the trail, staying in cabins and tents for 5+ days. Total snowmobile ~ 450km/280 miles. We can accomodate up to 6 people per expedition; we try to schedule with a full moon. Snowmobile experience would be an advantage. You will be living close to the Inuvialuit ways. These trips can challenge who you are.


We supply: guides, snowmobiles, fuel, oil, food, wind tent for lunch, accommodations in Paulatuk NWT, tour hamlet, Inuvialuit Elders' stories, and much more. This will be at a slow pace with many photo ops.
   

Schedule (2-6 clients, for ½ day or 1 day)
From Inuvik in March - May
For ½ day(6-8 hrs) or a full day(12 hrs) you will be snowmobiling from Inuvik along the North Arm of the MacKenzie River then inland to the Barrens plateau. We will be traveling leisurely passing old caribou stations, pingos, wild life: musk-ox, caribou, fox, maybe wolves or Barren Lands grizzly. Depending on the expedition you choose, lunch, dinner and snacks will be provided. Total snowmobile travel ~60km-150kms. We can accommodate up to 6 people per expedition. Snowmobile experience would be an advantage.

We supply: guides, snowmobiles, fuel, oil, food, wind tent for lunch. This will be at a slow pace with many photo ops.

 

HUNT
Schedule (2-6 clients for 3-5 days)
Musk-ox during Sept-Oct and Mar-Apr
Our guides virtually guarantee you will get a Musk-ox with their 95% success rate. You will travel across the Barrens via snowmobile, ATV or possibly a dog team depending on conditions and your pocketbook. There is of course much to see: tent rings, aurora, caribou, fox, wolves, possibly polar bear. and many more of the wonders and beauty of a part of our world seldom seen. SUMMER FISHING
 Schedule (2-6 clients for 3-4 days)
Lake Trout during Aug-Sept
From the community of Holman (Ululkhaktok) we will travel northward by boat and on foot to Lake Uuyarektok where the Lake Trout is abundant and up 50lb trout have been caught. We will be tent camping at night.
